1. Leave is earned by duty. The authority, empowered to grant leaves, has the discretion to refuse or revoke leaves when services are required, except in the case of leave on medical/maternity ground.
2. All leave applications shall be made in prescribed form, addressed to the authority with approval of the departmental head, The HR Department will maintain, recommend and verify all such approved leave applications.
3. All employees of Security Link Services Ltd can earn leave after the date of employment confirmation. “No leave shall be granted during the probation period.” However, in case of extreme emergency, a very limited Casual and Medical Leave may be allowed as special consideration. This leave shall be treated as leave without pay. But in very special cases, this leave can be adjusted after confirmation and approval of the higher management.
4. An employee will hand over charges to another employee as directed by the authority before proceeding for leave.
5. If an employee leaves his/her duty station for a period of 12 hours and above he/she must inform his/her superior.
6. Kinds of Leave: There shall be following kinds of leave for the employees of SecurityLink Services Ltd:
a) Earned Leave- one day for every 18 days actually worked in previous calendar year.
b) Sick Leave- 14 days.
c) Casual Leave- 10 days.
d) Maternity Leave- 112 days for maximum 2 terms
e) Festival Leave- 11 days.
